What is Domestic Anarchy?
Domestic Anarchy began as a blog focusing on urban gardening and home arts. (Oh, and dogs. We love dogs.)
Since it has gained a substantial following in the area of gardening (especially urban gardening and guerrilla gardening), Domestic Anarchy has decided to delve further into this realm as a socially constructive enterprise.
Our Goals:
- Create a FREE forum where organic and heirloom seeds can be bartered.
- Create a seed bank where seeds can be cleaned and saved for future use.
- Increase biodiversity, which will provide more nutritious veggies, purer water, and cleaner air..
- Ensure food security in local areas by providing seeds and seedlings for pantry-stocking gardens.
- Address nutritional poverty locally and, with time, extend nationally.
- Educate and empower people to be as self-sufficient as possible.
What We Need:
Domestic Anarchy is currently working on the first step toward their goals by having a web developer re-design the website into a sort of social network where people can barter seeds, find others in their area local area, have access to an ever-expanding gardening library, and so much more!
We have been using personal funds to build this community and develop the website, but funds are running low! We are currently about $500 short of what we need to get this project launched.
What You Get:
Supporters can receive a pack of seed bombs to toss in any location that needs beautifying. Further support can receive seed bombs PLUS a yearly or lifetime membership! (See details in the perks section!)
Of course, these amounts aren't demanded! Any tiny amount that you can donate will be fully appreciated and used to help launch something great!
Other Ways You Can Help:
Some people just can’t contribute, and that's okay! We appreciate your good vibes, and it doesn’t mean that you can’t help in other ways!
Make some noise about this campaign! Share it on social networks! Tell your friends!
Thank you in advance for all of your support!
