Every May for 27 years, Balfour Collegiate in Regina, SK, has put on its annual "Senior Citizens' Night," an evening event of entertainment and dance when the senior citizens from the area around our high school are invited in to see performances by our high school students and teachers, enjoy a light snack, and ultimately have the students act as dance partners. We provide free transportation to the school since many of the guests are on a limited income, and all of this is done at no charge to any of our guests. It is a fantastic event which allows our students to connect with the generations that came before them, give back to the community, and provide meaningful entertainment for others.

This year, due to budget cuts to our school board, as a school we don't have sufficient funds to pay for the event. We are asking for community support so that we can make the 28th annual Senior Citizens' Night happen. Your contributions will go toward paying for the transportation, decorations, and other associated costs involved with putting on this event like the band for the dance.
