Short Summary
Shiksa is the story of a Jewish man, Adam, who finally brings his recently-engaged, Catholic fiancee, Beth, home to meet his parents... although, his parents just so happen to be his four overbearing and loving mothers. Beth spends her first Shabbat trying to win over Adam's mothers all while staying true to her roots.
The Impact
Any donation can help us further achieve our goal to make this film! We will need the funds to help with a variety of thing:
- Production Design: Due to our story being directed around one single event, Shabbat, we want to make sure that our production design is authentic to this tradition as much as possible.
- Wardrobe: Our characters are the foundation of this story. We want to supply them with a wardrobe that can build their character to its fullest potential.
- Food: Over the weekend we will be spending shooting, we must make sure that the cast and crew is well nourished and fueled up so they can give 110% effort!!
- Transportation: We want to give our cast and crew a safe and efficient way to get around as well as transport our equipment!!
