Our boys baseball field is located up a hill high above the school and below the field is nothing but a mountain of rock (Rock Springs Middle School). We do not have power at the field and have been denied installation by the school board due to the expense of running the electricity(around $25K).

Coach has researched and located a solar powered scoreboard that we could purchase and install for around $6000. We'd like to be able to give the boys a scoreboard for this season which starts in a couple of weeks.

We don't have bleachers or a concession stand either but if we could just get a scoreboard it would be really boost the spirit of these boys.

My son plays baseball for the team. He is in the 6th grade and has goals to continue to play for his middle school, Smyrna High School, Vanderbilt, the Nashville Sounds and the Oakland As. He would love to follow in the footsteps of our famous baseball player from Smyrna, Sonny Gray!
