Somebody New! is a short film about An art school freshman tries to balance his new life and his identity of being a crossdresser.

We just finish the cut and need your help for the post-production. Your contribution will be spent on Color Correction/Sound Mixing/Music Composing and Music License.

Few words from the director Tian

“You make up a world, and all the people in it, what they're going to think and say and do, then you shoot it. And there's the whole entire world out there that never existed before. A world that you made up.”

Those quotes are from the short film that I directed for my MFA degree thesis film for Academy of Art University, called SOMEBODY NEW!. Basically explained everything about my passion for filmmaking.

What I’m trying to make, is not only motion pictures, is more like a language, a language that combines all the art forms such as painting, theater, music and etc together, a language that delivers whatever I feel like that I’d like to share with the others.

I’ll keep breathing, I’ll keep learning, and I’ll keep filmmaking.
