The Film
A quirky fairytale about mankind sleeping. This is a documentary that will bring together what sleep talkers say in their sleep. It is a small expedition into the sleeping mind, trying to figure out the mysterious land of nod. Do you know what you do or say in your sleep?
This revealing and entertaining bedtime story will be an honest portrayal of the many sleep-talkers which are among us - siblings, friends, partners, parents - bringing the depths of the night time mannerisms and surreal juxtapositions on surface at day time.
What ever happened last night has never been so relevant! Sleep is the new evolutionary hangover and I have the story to reveal all. So get into your PJs, make yourself a hot cocoa and tuck yourself in for a bedtime story. This is the one fairytale you never heard before.
I have always been interested in sleep activities since I sleep walked and talked from a young age, but it soon became obvious to me that not many people knew what they did at all. After a few audio recordings, most people to their surprise found out what they have been saying in their sleep. It is like holding a mirror to your peculiar subconscious and trying to ooze sense out of it.
I have an enthusiastic team of sleep lovers from Arts University College
of Bournemouth (AUCB) who have an equal fascination of night time. We want to
use our facilities to investigate further into nocturnal peculiarities.
We will be tracking down some sleep audio and bridging the gap between night and day to bring the story to you!
There is also a group of dancers with a pool of talent contributing to this project.
Sparking an interest in what you do at sleep is only the beginning. With all the kit that is available to us in our modern day and age, why should sleep still remain a mystery?
This is about sleep-talking and telling stories to share and appreciate it!
We need to cover the costs of the audio kit, SD cards and filming equipment but more importantly it will be to cover the cost of transport so that we can use a wider social network of sleep talkers to keep audio diaries for the duration of filming. The more kit we can get and further we can travel would mean a bigger and better story to tell you all.
Promotional: Posters, cards, flyers, festival entry fees. ($500)
Transport: Petrol money, bus & train fairs ($1000)
Sound kit: Voice activated recorders, 16GB SD cards ($800)

Dancers: transport, food ($200)
Trying to get David Attenborough to narrate it ($Incalculable...)
By choosing one of the perks you will have a choice of things to benefit from digital downloads to executive producer credits. Check out our perks.
Simply by posting this website or talking to friends or even making an audio recording just to tell us how it went would be splendid. You can make an audio recording of yourself tonight!
Or can forward details of where this documentary could be screened.
And also we'd love to know about what you discovered about your sleep behavior and would love to hear sleep-talking/walking stories from you. Share some sleep-stories with us:
