Short Summary
Hello everyone I just purchased a Sports Bar, after getting inside and operating for about 5 months we ran into a problem. As we were in the process of transferring the liquor license we were informed by the liquor control board the it has been transferred to an existing business and that business was another Sports bar approximately 10 miles away. We call this unethical business practice because the license was sold to us through the purchase agreement.. In the meantime we had to shut our doors. We were devastated, hurt and angry, but we had to remember that one scripture, "Vengeance is mine, saith the LORD".
My partner and I met in the USAF back in 1992, I served for 12 years and he did 4 years. We set out to create "The Best Darn Sport Bar and Lounge in the Midwest". We are still on that mission and we will not lose. We are both Christian men and decided through lots of prayer that this was a great investment. We wanted to make a change in this community and region and we still will.
Being apart of this campaign you will follow the growth and the change of a small town sports lounge, that was trying to be destroyed, to a major franchise that will focus on charitable giving.
This is what we need:
- $50,000 and this is what that gets.
- a liquor license permits there are 5 permits that we need that will run about $3800
- Attorney fees $1750
- Our beer, wine and alcohol inventory, it was removed by our vendor when they found out that we did not have a liquor lic. $7-8k
- Our food inventory it's spoiled now $12k
- 3 months of fixed cost lease, electric, gas, direct TV and other misc. $25k
- If we don't reach our goal we will adjust our inventory and take care of the major things that will get our doors open.
We are thanking everyone in advance for you support. We will also send to everyone a 20% discount card to visit us at our sports bar.
Thanks and GOD Bless the success!
