ST Therese Shrine
On many occasions over the last few years, I have been inspired to create a shrine for St. Therese, also known as "The Little Flower". Many people have prayed to St. Therese and miracles have occured. She lets her presence known through Roses. "I will let fall from Heaven....a shower of Roses."
My family began creating the shrine this Spring, and many have already come, cried and prayed.
As a mom of a child with Autism, St. Therese has told me that many parents of special needs children will come and pray and she will be there to help and intercede....and this is already occuring.
It warms my heart to look outside and find people turning to faith and prayer.
Our prayer box is filled with prayer requests and I know that this is just the beginning.
Our Mission
My family's mission has now become to help St. Therese fullfill her mission to bring healing and hope to people in their darkest times. With the funding we are asking for, we will be able to:
- Expand our exisiting shrine and build a small chapel so that people can continue to come and pray despite the weather conditions
- Have an annual feast day celebration for St Therese
- Start a non profit organization in St Theres's name so that we can maintain the shrine and distribute funds to special needs children's charities in her name
The Little Way
St Therese has taught others that it is the "Little Way", or the little things you do that can help others. We want our "little way" to matter. Please help us with your little way....whether it be through prayer, donation, or forwarding our mission to others . We will keep you on our prayer list in our shrine.
