Who are we?
Overeager artists, tired of waiting for representation. Nerds with not enough free time. Trans people in bathrooms. We're a collection of folks who believe in telling stories about those who haven't had their stories told. With your help, we hope to make this story engaging, inspiring, and just plain hilarious.
Oh, did you want to know, like, our names or whatever? Sure, if you wanna be boring about it.

Lia is an overly enthusiastic lesbian from Omaha, Nebraska. She pretends to be a big city girl, but she still smiles on the street. Since graduating summa cum laude from NYU, she's been putting her New Media degree to (unpaid) work. Her past projects include a fiction podcast, "Overkill," and an anthology of queer joy featuring 24 artists from seven countries. She is a 2019 Writers Omi Fellow, a 2018 CUPSI champion, and a 2017 finalist for NYC Youth Poet Laureate. In her free time, she likes to take selfies she'll never post.
Marley is an indecisive non-binary filmmaker from the Bay Area, California. The only thing they’re certain of is that they’re a dreamboat with extraordinarily long limbs. They were an NBCUniversal PitchNY 2018 writing finalist, won the Audience Choice Award at the Tisch 2018 Showcase for a comedy skit, and worked as a VICE Producing Fellow, focusing on pitching intersectional documentaries. Outside of art, they lead student workshops as an ambassador for the queer non-profit Just Like Us. They're known for oozing dyke energy.

And whose story is it, anyway?

JORDAN's anxiety and penchant for panic attacks hardly make them an ideal candidate for a job in customer service, but their empty wallet leaves them with no other options.
May is smart, outspoken, and occasionally annoying. Unfortunately, her penchant for emotional repression doesn't serve her well as a cyber-certified therapist at a tech start-up.
Eddie's parents would pay for anything she ever wanted, but she'd rather be a bartender than a spoiled brat. That is, until it comes time to pay tuition for her third degree.
So, why should you give us your money?
To put it simply, making great art requires great sums of money. The first season of STALLED is the length of a feature film, and we think it can be every bit as beautiful. Here's the breakdown:

So let's be real...
This is a massive project. We'll be on-set for a full two weeks, creating over two hours worth of original content. For many of our cast and crew members, creating this show will be as time-consuming as a full-time job. Asking for money makes us feel very corporate and icky, but there's simply no other way to make it happen. We need your help.
Can't donate?
That's okay! You can still help us out by:
- Sharing our campaign! Tell your friends, your gay cousin, your sugar daddy. Annoy strangers on the street. Find an empty brick wall and spray-paint our QR code next to the words "be gay, do crimes."
- Follow us on social media! @STALLEDSERIES can now be found on Instagram and Twitter.
