LIBERTY & ENTREPRENEURSHIP CAMP 2016 (SUMMER SESSION)
Africa Youth Peace Call (AYPC) will collaborate with the Bastiat Institute of Liberty & Entrepreneurship (BILE is a key example of a former student of the camp who took what we could teach him & act with it) to organize this Summer Session of the Liberty & Entrepreneurship Camp 2016 at Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana. The week-long event will Start from 12-17 June, 2016, with the Theme 'UNCHAINING THE ECONOMY THROUGH ECONOMIC FREEDOM'. The Camp is AYPC's flagship programme that has been run since 2008.
Participants will be introduced to FREE MARKET & LIBERTARIAN Concepts and how it promotes a humane & a prosperous Society. They will also start their entrepreneurship journey by learning business skills that can assist them in running their own businesses & pro-market institutions for policy reform.
Our motive is to foster a generation of African youth who are independent thinking with an inclination thousands individual freedom. With an immersion process of group work, presentations and research, participants are trained to become Free Market/Libertarian activists and entrepreneurs.
This session will be interesting in the sense that we've young Africans participating from all over the African continent. The 16th of June is set aside as Blockchain Day. Participants will learn the A-Z of Blockchain/Bitcoin & its potentials to free Africa & the world.
We have powerful Speakers lined up for the week that includes Dr. Lawrence Reed, Prof. Ken Schoolland, Dr. Tom G. Palmer, Roger Ver, Tim Tayshun, Susanne Templehoff, David Shellenberger, Noel Berg, Steve Horwitz, Dan Mclaughlin, Kofi Akosah, Jeffrey Tucker, Christopher Lingle, Marsha Enright, Joe Shepherd, Moronfolu Adeniyi, Jacob Hornberger & Bismarck Peter Kojo etc.
OUR BUDGET
It will cost every student $240 to participate in the camp. This means that if we are to host the proposed 50 students then we need $12,000. Every participant is supposed to pay $110 which is half of the total cost. We are therefore raising $6000 to make it happen.
