I have been charged with the task of training dogs for Veterans and those who are disabled, to improve their quality of life

My story growing up as a shy introverted boy I struggled with low self esteem and depression.  I had a severe speech impediment which caused me to stutter really badly. I would sometimes go weeks without speaking at all.  Thats when my love affair with dogs began.  When I couldn't speak to people I would read and talk to my dog.  I learned early on that dogs are not judgmental and they love unconditionally.

The dog house in the backyard is where I felt most safe.  I watched my mother battle  abuse throughout my early childhood and dogs became my refuge.  I always had the unique ability to  understand and communicate with dogs.  I was given the name "DOG BOY" as a kid that still follows me to this day.  Eventually, I was blessed to serve in the Army as a K9 Dog Trainer as well as the Atlanta Police Department.

100% of Your Donations will help us get the doors opened to our training facility

I am moved when I see the faces of the veteran light up as they meet their dogs for the first time.  The Training facility provides a place to call home when loneliness and despair sets in. Providing continuing education, group dog training classes, training dogs to perform specific task and taking the dogs out into public places ultimately helps a great deal.

Our Wounded Warriors need our help now! We are losing too many of them to long waiting list and political rhetoric. The time is now to show our support for the brave men and women dealing with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Depression, memory loss, fear, anxiety and hopelessness.  Some feel they have returned home to a strange world with no purpose or direction.  These resources alone will have an immediate impact promoting exercise and reducing the need for prescription drugs.

Great news!! We have identified and secured a location that immediately helps us service the current wounded warriors that are already in the program.  Our military men and women are returning to civilian life forever changed.

They fought for us now we fight for them!
