The Culture Club Puerto Rico is a club that promotes peace through multicultural appreciation.  We meet once a month and explore the beauty of cultural diversity, one country at a time.

Our participants range from 4 - 11 years of age and come from all types of backgrounds.  We also offer our Club meetings in Barrio Obrero, Santurce at an after school program geared toward low income families.

Some of our kids have never left the island and have learned very little about other cultures, lifestyles and traditions. We hope to spark in them a love for others, regardless of appearance, beliefs, nationality or race.

At our meetings we learn about the location,  peoples, traditions and celebrations of each country we explore.  Our participants receive a "passport" which we "stamp" when they complete each workshop.  The excitement in their eyes when they see a new stamp is amazing.

We need your help!  We never charge for our workshops/meetings.

This has been a great opportunity to gather kids to talk about the world and even pray (which we do at the end of each meeting) for peace in the country we are exploring and for the world.  Kids are really growing, learning and gaining a great appreciation for those who are unlike them.  We are so excited to hear them greet eachother in other languages, understand why people dress a certain way and where places are on a map.

Would you consider helping us make this an awesome summer for a special group of kids?
