'The Four Stages of Love' is our Romantic Comedy short film! In which we explore rediscovering lost connection and that love is a choice you have to make every single day.
This is Samantha Creager and Rachel Blauert's Senior Thesis film through Huntington University.

Our Story
An ex couple with too many bills to pay must work together to win in a nation wide journalism competition testing a love theory, or fail to reveal and redefine just how love works.

I'm Samantha Creager the Director and Co-Writer of 'The Four Stages Of Love' and I am working with good friends and classmates Rachel Blauert, the films Producer, and Riley Hendrickson our Director of Photography. We are in our final year in the film program here at Huntington University. We all have worked on several award winning student films, with several still being run through the festival circuit! We love our craft and work towards the best we can be at all times in every project and film.
This film is or Senior thesis film and we are going to be casting out of Chicago with professional actors. Filming in parks in Huntington and Fort Wayne Indiana, and once the film is finished we will run it through the film festival circuit as well!
We have an extremely talented and excited crew that wants to produce the highest quality of film possible. Any contributions will be greatly appreciated and will get us the support we need to make the best film we can that we can be proud of.
What We & What You Get
Our goal is to raise $1,500 which would double our budget! What is raised here would account for our actors, food, lodging, gas, location rental, props, and emergency funds just in case we need it! But this is not one sided! When you donate you can claim perks such as: special thanks in the credits of the film, signed copies of the script, crew pictures, Private screening of the film and so much more! The amount received will determine what perk you get!! If we don't reach our goal the film quality will be set back. Every little bit helps and with your support and help we can make a film that will stand out among the rest as well as entertain and engage!
The Impact
This film highlights a life essential, that many people often forget about and is often romanticized by media. When you choose to support our campaign you are aiding in the next generation of storytellers that have been taught to tell meaningful stories in a unique and creative way! Many in this amazing crew have won awards in their specified felids and cannot wait to learn even more about their future through this project. Samantha Creager has won Best Sound Design for the last two years. Riley has won best film for several of his films , and Rachel's junior thesis film has won best film last year. All three pillars for their focuses in filmmaking at Huntington University, wanting to pour into the new generation, knowledge and mentorship. The crew of 'The Four Stages Of Love' are going to gain experiences and memories that will propel them into their future of creative story telling.
Risks & Challenges
With all projects there are challenges that we will need to overcome to create the best film possible. Such as acquiring locations, extras, actors, wardrobe, and casting. But with the talented crew that we have and your generous help they can be overcome.
With the last three years under our belts as storytellers we have come together to tell a deep story in a fun and comedic way. 'The Four Stages Of Love' looks at heavy topics but manages to create an air of hilarity that adds to the story and helps you connect to the characters within .
All the while having you connect with what this story could mean to you and your life.
