Hello there! And thank you for stopping by :)
My name is Michael, and I'm the co-writer of this production.
Two months ago, myself and a good friend of mine decided that we wanted to make a webseries. We started small, deciding on the style and our ambition for the project. A month and a half later, we had a script for our first episode.
We're currently in pre-production at the moment, we have a Script Editor and a Director on board, and are about to start casting. We're also working on Episode Two.
We currently have enough equipment to make this project happen, but there's still room for improvement. It can be done purely out of our own pockets, but with your support it can be done quicker and to a much higher standard.
"What's it about?" I hear you ask... Well, I can't actually hear you ask that, this was typed out before this campaign even got launched, but I'm guessing that's what you would say.
So - The plot.
The plot revolves around two friends, Myke and Rob. Rob is at the end of his secondary education and Myke is working at £2.50 an hour. As a hobby they like to record podcasts in Rob's shed, where they discuss topics that also happen to intertwine with the events that happen to them in each episode. The podcasts also act as narration for the episode - think the stand-up sections in Louie but with less ginger.
The First Episode revolves around the topic of Relationships. Myke's never had a proper one, and Rob is so madly in love that it drives him mad. Myke finally gets a date, and Rob see's his beloved get into a car with another man...
We're aiming to have 3-5 episodes in our first series, we want to deliver a satisfying experience but we also don't want to stretch it too thin.
If this sounds like your cup of tea, feel free to donate. If not, that's no problem. This isn't being made for profit, we're doing it for our love and appreciation of comedy.
