Short Summary

The Real Family Reunion is a cultural celebration uniting ALL races, ages and genders under the umbrella of oneness, peace, and love. we seek to unite the community by bridging generational gaps with a day of enlightenment, holistic health, arts, social awareness and fun-filled activities! Everyone is welcome to come out and meet each other from all walks of life, reestablishing values and morals back into our families. We seek to empower the community by providing a platform for local businesses to commerce among one another and local residents. 

We have workshops that include practices such as yoga, meditation and martial arts, while sharing the delightful joy of living a healthy life through consuming natural foods. This is a power-packed event filled with  live performances, motivational speakers, and so much more!!! The children will enjoy this festive day, filled with lively activities; Interactive Puppet show, games, water balloons toss and face painting! A full day of education and entertainment that will be an event to cherish and remember.

• The first annual event took place in Los Angeles, California on July 8th 2012 gathering over 1,700 attendees reestablishing a sense of unity and togetherness for the community. We received so much positive feedback and appreciation from those who were present. Many attendees went on to create their own community platforms, businesses, connections, friendships and life opportunities while stating that the event was life changing!We seek expand every year. 
•  Additionally, Community building and supporting local businesses is a key component in our work, as this brings a sense of community empowerment and oneness to the surface. The idea is to restore trust, pride and togetherness to the community, while simply having a joyous time celebrating the beautiful things life has to offer...
  

Risks & Challenges

Some of the risks and challenges that we face is raising enough funds to support the expenses that it takes to host an event of this magnitude. We are attempting to make a dream reality, and it definitely can come true, however it is going to take community involvement to see and bring about the change that we wish to see.
