Thanks so much for taking the time to read all about The Yard and our plans to bring this magical space to life in the heart of Kutchan (Eki Mae Dori). 

As many of you know Powder Yoga has been in search of a new home this year, so we went back to the drawing board to re-imagine what our dream space would look like. Deciding not to settle for anything less, we have set out on a new mission to bring this idea to life for our awesome Niseko community. The yard is a space where we can work hard, play hard and rest hard too. Our aim is to bring you all the yoga and fitness that you know love and much much more as well...

The Yard is a recreation space, a multipurpose home designed to enable different ideas and concepts to come to life. We wanted to create a space for Niseko locals that spoke to all the things we hold dear, our health and wellness, our jobs and businesses and our free time. We will open in November 2021 offering yoga + fitness classes provided by Powder yoga, a cold-press juice bar + cafe, a co-working space, a private treatment room for massages, physiotherapy and health coaching consultations, an event and gallery space and last but not least, an indoor skate area with mini ramp and features. 

We want to bring our community together to enjoy everything that The Yard has to offer. No matter your interests this space will have something for you. Healthy food and drinks, skate sessions, yoga, breathwork + fitness classes, community events + workshops, book clubs, language swaps, juice bar cocktail parties, live music, gallery space and so much more. To top it all off we wanted to make sure that our furry friends in Niseko had somewhere to hang out too, so we have a dedicated pet friendly area as part of our co-working space, cafe and juice bar.

We can’t wait to welcome you into our new home.

We plan to open our doors for Powder Yoga + Fitness's classes by November 15th 2021. After that we are aiming for a phased opening of the other areas of the yard.

倶知安の中心、駅前通りでThe Yardが魔法の空間を生み出します！

多くの人がご存知の通り、今年パウダーヨガは新しい活動の拠点となる場所を探していました。その新しいホーム探しは、私たちの「理想の空間」とはどんなものなのか改めて考え直すきっかけとなりました。そして、私たちはこの素晴らしいニセココミュニティに貢献するため、パウダーヨガが思い描く理想の空間、The Yardを実現する計画を始めたのです。私たちはこの空間が、皆さんが愛するヨガとフィットネス、そしてさらに多くの魅力をもたらし、ニセコの町の人々が存分に働き、遊び、リラックスできるスペースとなる事を目指します。

The Yardは、様々なアイディアやコンセプトを実現できるよう設計された多目的レクリエーションスペースであり、ニセコの町の人々が大切にしている、健康、ビジネス、そして自由な時間を共有できます。2021年11月にオープンし、パウダーヨガが提供するヨガ・フィットネスクラスに加えコールドプレスジュースバー・カフェ、共有ワークスペース、プライベートマッサージルーム、理学療法と健康指導のコンサルティングスペース、イベント・ギャラリースペース、またミニランプやその他魅力的な機能を備えた屋内スケートエリアが設営される予定です。

私たちは、町のコミュニティが集まりThe Yardが提供するサービスを存分に楽しんでもらえる場をつくる事を目標にしています。ヘルシーな食事・ドリンク、アイススケート、ヨガ、呼吸法・フィットネスクラス、コミュニティイベント・ワークショップ、読書クラブ、言語交流、ジュースバー・カクテルパーティー、ライブミュージック、ギャラリースペースなど、The Yardはどんな方にも楽しんで頂けるサービスを提供します。また、動物を愛するニセコの皆さんのために、共有ワーキングスペースとジュースバー・カフェの一角にペットフレンドリーエリアを設置します。

町の新しい憩いの場、The Yardを皆さんに見せするのが待ちきれません！

2021年11月1日までにパウダーヨガによるヨガ・フィットネスクラスをオープンし、それに続き他エリアも段階的にオープンする予定です。11月中旬までにジュースバー・カフェ、11月末までにスケートエリアの完成を予定しています。

To get up and running we are inviting you to be a part of our launch. We would never ask for anything for free, so all of our crowdfunding perks translate into real life products and services for you to enjoy once we are open. For your peace of mind, if we can’t deliver on a service once open you will receive a full refund for anything contributed to the campaign.

We are looking to raise 1,000,000 yen to help purchase start up equipment such as juicers and coffee machines and get the renovation completed for every area of our plan. At the moment we are working with a blank canvas space, so there is a lot of work to be done. Your contributions will enable us to bring this awesome space to life. It’s been a rough few seasons for Niseko locals, and many of us are still struggling with keeping our businesses a float. Finding a way to work together as a community to help us to grow and succeed collectively is one of our founding principles. If your business would like to be involved with us at The Yard, we would love to hear from you to discuss partnership opportunities. We are open to partnership opportunities from local food and drinks providers, bakers, artists, treatment providers and products creators so please get in touch and let's start something awesome together.
