Hello Good People!
'Indie-Go-Go' says that I have to introduce myself before speaking about our awesome project, so here we go- go!
My name is Tristan Quinn, and I am a children's book writer (Mostly I'm a mom). Honestly, it's still a little unreal to type these words, because just over a year ago, becoming an author was just a dream. The reason I was so motivated to write my book was to create literature for minority children- like my own. I wanted to create an opportunity for them to see more positive images of themselves in picture books.
After having some success (in my estimation) as an author, I decided to use my affinity for storytelling to embark on yet another journey to create opportunities. Which brings us to our project.
THEY.
THEY is a sci-fi short film inspired by the talent of three amazing actors (all under 4 feet!). It chronicles a day in the life of a normal (-maybe not so normal) american family. This day starts off like every other before it. A morning at the park, a trip to the grocery store... nothing terribly out of the ordinary. Even the routine phone call received every morning for the past seven years came right on time... All was well- until two little words were spoken... "I'm coming."
That's the official description of our little "love child" of a short!
But what THEY actually is- is much, much, deeper. THEY is the first step toward "infinite possibility" for our very own Jaxon Rose Moore (6), Leiloni Arrie Pharms (7), and Elohim Nycalove. At 6 and 7 years old, these children have already had more success than some adults have in this volatile industry. Adversely, they have also faced more professional rejection than most adults could stomach in their careers! But hey!- It's the nature of the business they are in. As disheartening as this may initially seem to some, to them- it's not! These little actors are fortified by the love of their art, and learn invaluable lessons because of it. Filming THEY not only affords these children an outlet to display their natural talent, it also allows them the opportunity to witness -with their own eyes, that they are limitless, and have the authority to create paths that do not yet exist. In short, our goal is to make a quality short film, under the guidance of industry professionals to introduce to all of you, the plethora of talent in these pint sized pioneers!
Leiloni, Jaxon, and Elohim, will be joined by the awesome talents of Shavonia Jones, Jarrett Michael Collins, and Wesley Cook, in this amazing sci- fi journey of discovery!

What We Need & What You Get
We are trying to raise $2000 to cover the cost of filming.
This is actually a very modest film budget- even for a short.
We are beyond fortunate to have Made Legit Media agree to steer us down this untraveled path! After owner, Jesse Scimeca, heard our concept and reviewed our script, he (like so many others) saw promise in this project- and the children, and decided to work with us at minimal cost. Made Legit Media is one of Atlanta's best kept secrets in the field of cinematography. (We selfishly fear that the rest of the world discovers how amazing they are!) We have such a great team and are proud to announce that Jesse, will be joined by Brett Owens- who will be making his directorial debut, and completing our group of gifted collaborators! All of the stars are aligning to make this dream, a reality! All that's missing, is you!
- Every last contribution, no matter how small, will get a shout out from at least one of our cast members of "THEY"!
- If we, for whatever reason, do not reach our goal, we will still be using the funding we did receive to make our dreams happen! (We may- however have to sell Lemonade- LOTS of Lemonade- to supplement the rest!) .

- As you all know, it is so important to empower our youth. We need to remind them that a dream without a goal is just a wish, and a goal without a plan, is just a dream. Your contribution will directly enable us navigate this plan!
