What’s Thru 25?
Do you have all the answers in your twenties? What about if you lose one of the most important people in your life? Thru 25 is a show about friends in their mid twenties trying to get through the busy and fast paced life style in New York City, and how they get through the sudden loss of one of their own.
Where You Come In
We believe in this story and think it deserves to be told, but we can't do it
without you. We've already released our first episode, but without your help we
won't be able to continue filming. So we hope you can find it in your hearts to
donate. Every single dollar counts, and it means the world to our team.
Our Vision
The first season of Thru 25 is a
seven episode arc with each episode released on our website www.thru25.com. At the heart of this story is New York City, and we want to capture it by featuring a
different New York City based musician in every episode. We think it's important
to share and highlight local talent as well as collaborate across artistic
mediums.
We also want our show to be as accessible as possible. We encourage
our audience to follow us on Twitter (@thru25) and participate in our live
tweet sessions during every episode release. We also have a page on Facebook
(Thru25) that gives followers updates, access to behind the scenes footage, and showcases our special guests.
Why Indiegogo and Where Does the
Money Go?
We know there are various ways to
fund an artistic project and decided on Indiegogo because we think this is the
best platform to reach our audience while creating an easy and trusted way to
donate. Thru 25 focuses on the importance of community, and we hope by reaching out to our community we can make this story a reality.
Now where does all the
money go? Good question! Our goal of $3,500 is going solely toward production
costs of Season 1. This includes:
-equipment rentals
-location fees
-feeding the cast and crew
-web hosting/domain
-costumes
-props
-make up
We are extremely lucky to have found
a fantastic cast and crew who are so generously donating their time and talent
to this production. We are forever grateful for all they have brought to this
project and couldn’t have done this without them. If we raise above our
$3,500 goal, those proceeds will go towards compensation and Season 2.
