Hey!
What's up?! My name is Brandon Howard Roy, and I'm queer singer-songwriter from Montreal, now based in beautiful Charlottetown, PEI. After a career spent training and working as a musical actor all over Canada, I now make handcrafted indie-pop music for the dance floor, the therapist's office, and everywhere in between. My work has garnered me two 2021 Music PEI Award nominations (New Artist of the Year and Digital Achievement), and on February 19th, my debut EP Tough Stuff is going to be released. I'm very excited for you to hear it!
Why Indiegogo?
For so many artists, the revenue streams we count on to make music have all but dried up in the past year, and for those of us making music independently we have to self-finance a significant portion of our recording costs.
SO! I've assembled some fun packages that include copies of the album, show tickets and merchandise. Supporting me through Indiegogo gives you the most bang for your buck, exclusive early access to CDs and merch, and helps me cover the costs of making Tough Stuff which include studio rental, producing, engineering, mastering, design, advertising, PR, paying my incredible band, music videos... the list goes on! But it's so, so worth it.
How can I help?
For starters, you can grab one of the sweet perks! You can also help me by sharing this campaign on social media, and by checking the album out when it's released next month.
A follow on social media is the best way to keep in touch! Find me on all socials @brandonhowardroy.
