THE ANT SYNOPSIS

The Ant is a surreal horror-drama about a failed painter who works a meaningless job in a bureaucratic office. Every day he is terrorized by strange ants that constantly disturb him both at work and at home. They even start to crawl out of his skin. The ants show signs of intelligence and eventually remind the man of his true calling. He decides to escape his infernal office and paint again for the first time in 20 years. The film is about a man who finds courage to do what matters to him and through that he reaches self-fulfillment. This film is an intriguing and inspiring tale about how it's never too late to change your life for the better.

THIS GODDAMNED NOISE SYNOPSIS

This Goddamned Noise is a surreal social-horror story set in a nightmarish party hall. It’s about a dying old man who's lost at his own birthday party - a party full of hundreds of apathetic and chaotic guests. He’s trying to reconnect with his children who are also at this party, but he struggles to do so as they don't seem to care about him and since the hall offers nothing but noise and distraction. Why would anyone care about a dying old man when there's a party going on? The old man realizes that and is forced to accept it and be thankful for the brief moments of joy that life offers. It’s a film about how hard it is to communicate with the ones we are closest to and how time inevitably will doom us all to a fate of emptiness and obscurity.

Filmmaking is one of the most collaborative artforms. We couldn´t even fathom making these films without our fantastic team. A lot of them are people we have worked with before, but we are also expanding our network with new creative talents that can help us push ourselves and our films. Every person is handpicked for their personal abilities and will contribute to telling these stories. We highly value diversity, a positive work environment and of course talent!

Crowdfunding Goal: 3300 €

We have received funding from two regional Film Institutes in Sweden (Filmregion Sydost & Film Stockholm) of 5000 €! We are more than halfway to our finish line and now we need your help to make these films a reality!

If we surpass our goal on Indiegogo then the money will go to salaries for the cast and crew! If we don't reach our goal, then we will self-finance this project and live on water and bread in the foreseeable future.
