We are a team of Entertainment and Media Studies students at the University of Georgia who are professional and care deeply about content creation and telling stories.
Samantha Rayne Harris (Producer/Writer/Creator): "What started as a class project quickly became a personal passion, a story I had to tell. I think everyone can learn from Sara and Rayna and see themselves in these women in some way. They learn to navigate life, loss, fear, and adventure all through the lens of their freshman year of college. This series was the first project I have written from start to finish. The creation of this story was not an easy ride. There were arguments, writer’s block, frustration, and even character’s written off that were there from the beginning (RIP Charlotte). In the end, I saw a story of two women coming-of-age at very different times and finding themselves in the most unlikely of circumstances (sorry, I had to). Sara and Rayna have a part of me and I hope everyone who watches will carry on a part of them too"
Olivia G. Mills (Associate Producer/Writer/Creator): "For me, college has been a series of unexpected growing pains. Sara and Rayna’s story is a reflection of this sentiment in every way possible. Their differences as people, their struggles, and their arguments are all modeled after people and situations that my friends, co-creators, and I have encountered in life so far. It’s a story that shows the importance of intergenerational conversation, as well as the truth that you can find a friend in the most unlikely places (you saw this coming). Sara and Rayna have taught me a lot about life as well as creating and I hope that their story continues to teach not only me, but also others."
