WHAT IS UNREDEEMED?
Unredeemed is a movie set in the urban jungle of modern day Rome. Jimmy, a mixed race drug dealer from London, crosses paths with Father Brendan, an aging Irish American priest suffering from a crisis of faith. Their chance encounter leads to an unlikely relationship that forces each of them to reevaluate the meaning of their lives, but also puts both their lives in danger.
This is a unique insight to modern day multicultural Rome. It's dark, deep and often uncompromising. Yet at its core it offers a message of faith, love and hope at a time now when the world most needs it.

WHO ARE WE AND WHY WE NEED YOU!
I'm Edmund Zengeni the writer, producer and lead actor of the new film Unredeemed. Like most works of art this is an extremely personal project which I have been cultivating for a long time. Finally with the essential help of a dedicated and talented cast and crew and my very supportive wife, we have been able to turn a creative dream into a cinematic reality. The story deals with the moral awakening of a hardened, cynical gangster through the aid of an aging Catholic priest who is struggling with is own demons. The genesis of idea came to me many years ago together with my mother, who was a devout Irish Catholic herself, and we slowly began to develop it. Having completed shooting and most of the post production we are now at a vital crossroads of the project. We are looking for backers to help us complete the original soundtrack. Once we have concluded this we will be ready to submit the film to film festivals around the world. We are so looking forward to showing you all of our hard work! Only with an original sound track we will be able to submit our film to all the main Festival around the world and to distribute it worldwide. That means that all our efforts for the production of the film could finally be paid off thanks to your help and support.
WHAT'S THIS MONEY FOR?
The funds raised from the campaign will go strictly towards the post production of the film and the completion of the the original soundtrack. The music will be composed and recorded by our dear friend and talented musical director Ray Amico in his recording studio in Nashville (Tennessee).
