Short Summary

• We are dedicated to waste reduction of building materials.  We do not receive any grants, we are self sufficient, at this site you receive a dollar of product for a dollar given. 
  
• Expanding Odom RE-USE Co's presence to a large city will give us access to greater quantities and predictability in materials offered, and even out the highs and lows of inventory.
• Bruce started Odom RE-USE Co. 16 years ago, has a background in residential construction, and a bachelors degree in business.  He is a lifelong environmental activist, dedicated to waste reduction in the building industry.
  

What We Need & What You Get

• We need a total of $30,000, but are asking for only $3,000 at this time from Indiegogo.  Other sources such as local informal investment clubs and friends are simultaneously being pursued.
  
• Perks equal dollar for dollar trade credit given to you to spend in either of our two stores like cash.  Contribute $25, and receive $25 in credit.  Basically a presale of our materials, you lose no value at all.  In addition to reusable building materials you can buy drinking glasses made from old wine bottles, Goodwill Industries recycled paper greeting cards, quality hi carbon pocket knives made in Michigan, made in U.S.A. T-shirts, caps, and lastly  Stanley 1" wide measuring tapes.  Some of the swag is free to larger contributors.
  
• Goal is low enough it will probably be reached, but if not, it will accumulate as we continue the fundraising.
  

The Impact

• Over 20% of the waste stream is from construction/ demolition activity.  We have had success reducing 5 million lbs,  this waste stream since opening, and this project will significantly increase our effectiveness.
  For 16 years the material we have diverted from the landfill has been made available to the public to reuse.  Some of this material is out of production, classic old designs not easily found  -  priceless in remodeling of old buildings.  We accomplished this with our customers and contractors terrific participation and are very proud of that fact.  We are a self sufficient mission driven business.
