Short Summary
We are a group of vegan activists using our combined events planning, accounts & budgeting, media background, volunteer management and passions to do something we think would be wonderful for our community.
In order to go ahead with V in the Park 2018 we need some vegan love! Early contributors will make this event possible - even just by buying your ticket in advance! In return, you have your ticket for the festival reserved and regular updates on what to look forward to as they come. We think that with the size of the vegan community in Scotland we could have an amazing weekend filled with food, drinks, music and information on our lifestyle. This will not only be a lot of fun, but we hope it will also invite others that are not yet vegan to see a side of us that they sometimes don’t get to. We want to provide a safe, inclusive environment for everyone to come together and show how much fun it is to be cruelty-free.
Not only will early contributors be making our festival possible, they will be showing the non-vegan world how wonderful our community really is! In Scotland we already have an overabundance of vegan caterers, artists and businesses so we are spoiled for choice when it comes to having some of the best food and talent. We already know the festival will be a huge success based on the massive interest in indoor vegan festivals and events that currently operate in Scotland. If you share our confidence any donation - even the price of your ticket - will help us make all of this possible!
Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal and we look forward to partying with you in 2018!

If we can make anything over 70% of our target our event will still go ahead - even if it means making some cuts to our more ambitious plans! We will be working hard to secure some sponsorship deals with local vegan companies to make the event a success even if we have to restrict the budget a little. Basically, the more support we get the bigger and better our event can be!
The Impact
We have already touched on what an impact this festival could be making on the vegan community, as well as the Scottish community in general, but we would like to take a moment to discuss the real impact of your contribution.
At the moment, the vegan movement is growing rapidly and we think this is amazing. We are moving towards a less cruel world and that is something we can all be proud of. At V in the Park 2018 we would like to celebrate this growth and hopefully show the world why our little community is growing so quickly.
We have already seen success in similar events in the UK and worldwide and we would love to bring this to Scotland! We want to bring all our little Scottish vegan communities together to show the world who we are.
Risks & Challenges
We have set ourselves an ambitious goal and although we are confident we will achieve this, we want you to feel as confident as we do. If we can achieve 70% of our fundraising target, then our festival will still go ahead - even if we have to cut back a little.
This means that even if we do not reach our total we will still provide an amazing festival for our community with hopes to grow next year!
