Hello, my name is Frances Hernández and my dream is to share the beauty of Waldorf education in my country. Currently this educational offering is limited, there are only two Waldorf schools in Puerto Rico, along with a project that would develop into a third school.
Waldorf education is behavior-based philosophy that encourages children to create a respectful and thriving society. This alternative education is very popular in Europe, South America and the United States. They teach children respect and honor towards hard work and their peers; achieved through working with art and nature.
This is the kind of foundation I want for my country, my community and my future children. With your support I can start my education this summer in the Anthroposophic Development Center in Cuernavaca, Mexico; where I’ll get my Waldorf's Teacher Certification.
This would be the first step in my vision to work with my community and establish my own Waldorf School.

Hola, mi nombre es Frances Hernández y mi sueño es compartir la belleza de la educación Waldorf en mi país. Actualmente esta oferta educativa es una limitada, sólo existen dos escuelas Waldorf en Puerto Rico, junto con un proyecto que se desarrollaria en una tercera escuela.
La Pedagogía Waldorf es una filosofía que promueve un comportamiento en nuestros niños de crear una sociedad respetuosa y de bien; como pienso yo. Esta educación alternativa es muy popular en Europa, Sudamérica y Estados Unidos. Enseñan a los niños respeto y honor por las personas y el trabajo; y trabajan a través del arte y la naturaleza.
Este es el tipo de formación que quiero para mi país, mi comunidad y mis futuros hijos. Con tu apoyo podré comenzar mi educación este próximo verano en el Centro de Desarrollo Antroposofico Cuernavaca, Mor. Mexico; donde obtendré mi Certificación de Maestra Waldorf.
Esta sería la primera etapa en mi visión de trabajar con mi comunidad y establecer mi Ecuela Waldorf.
