About
Season One tells the story of a stratified –– both literally and figuratively –– Windfall City, where the wealthy live in luxury condos in towering skyscrapers and the poor reside far away from the sunlight on the ground of the planet Proxima. Lording over this great city is the mysterious Queen Wanda and her robotic advisor, Tin Man, who appeared in the sky twenty years ago. While our drama involves a large cast of characters, the story centers around three brothers –– Shaima, Cas and Argus –– and the ragtag group they befriend along the way.
The second season is set six months after the events of the Season One Finale, where a powerful alien force attacked Windfall City during its holiest festival, Contact Day. Forced into the sewers, the grounders have adapted to the occupation of Windfall City by remaining hidden. However, more and more Proximans arrive every day, creating a housing and food crisis among their ranks. Meanwhile, Queen Wanda’s worldview has been thrown into disarray as she learns more about the circumstances of her arrival in Windfall City when she was just a baby. At the same time, the attack on Windfall City has created a power vacuum on the ground floor into which Mila has happily taken over. In the midst of this chaos, Cas, Shaima and Gertie have one looming question: where is Argus?

Funding
Thanks to the generous donations from our backers on Patreon, we have enough funds to pay our talented cast of voice actors for this upcoming season, and we have new additions to the show we can’t wait to introduce!
For Season One of Windfall we brought our entire cast together to record in Syracuse, New York over the course of a single week. It was a blast! Unfortunately, with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic we aren’t comfortable asking our cast to get together this time around, and we don’t want to continue pushing the production of Season Two, so we’ve decided to record this season remotely.
While we’re excited to get back into recording this show we love so much, this style of recording will put a particular strain on our post-production crew. In an effort to bring this season to your ears as quickly as possible, we’re raising funds here on IndieGoGo to hire additional sound designers to help with dialogue editing and sound design for this season.
Our initial goal is $8,500, which breaks down as:
- Dialogue Editing - $200 per episode (x12)
- Sound Design - $200 per episode (x12)
- Music Composition - $200 per episode (x12)

Who We Are:

Adam Raymonda is the sound designer, producer and composer behind Windfall. He is based in Syracuse, New York and has helped to produce podcasts like An Arm and a Leg; Breadcrumbs; A Bipolar, Schizophrenic, and a Podcast; Psych Central; and Unmapped, among others. In his free time, he produces music under the moniker Garbage Person.
Bob Raymonda is the creator of Windfall and co-writer/director. He's currently based in New Rochelle, New York. Bob founded the literary journal Breadcrumbs Magazine in 2015 and co-created its sister podcast, Breadcrumbs, the next year. He's also the co-writer/director on the audio drama Forgive Me! and has written for long-running podcasts such as The Truth and Greater Boston.
Christie Donato is co-writer/director and is based in Queens, New York, where she resides with her dog, Piper. Selections of her work can be found on Breadcrumbs Magazine, Syracuse Woman Magazine and Syndicated Magazine.
Jess Clark is a writer and producer in Syracuse, New York who you may recognize at the voice of Queen Wanda. Notable credits include producing and co-writing the script for Bruce, a comedy feature that screened at Nashville’s FILM-COM, the NYC Independent Film Festival, and the New York Film and TV Festival, garnering it a distribution deal with Comedy Dynamics. We’re excited to have her on the writing and production team for Season Two of Windfall.

Stretch Goals
If somehow we're able to exceed our initial goal of $8,500, we have a lot of plans for what we could do with a bigger budget. Learn more about those below:
#1: $9,000 - The Annotation
Dig even deeper into season two with fully annotated scripts by series co-writers Bob Raymonda, Christie Donato, and Jess Clark. Each annotated script released in time with early episode releases.
#2: $10,000 The Cover-Up
Follow one of the intrepid reporters from the Windfall City Broadcasting Company in this four-episode miniseries exploring the direct aftermath of the Contact Day Incident and the people who perpetrated the attack on the city. To be produced after season two is complete.
#3: 12,000 The Birth of an Icon
Meet Queen Wanda’s parents and follow them on their journey as they first crash land on the planet of Proxima. Witness the birth of the Queen, the birth of the Wolfpac, and the birth of the city as we know it in this special bonus episode. To be produced after season two is complete.
#4: 15,000 The Ophiuchus Disaster
Wonder where the humans have been all this time? Curious about where Admiral Timms and her band of invading mercenaries were, and why it took them 20 years to find Wanda, Tin Man, and Proxima? Find out in this feature-length special episode! To be produced after season two is complete.
We're so excited to tell this story...
And we're going to do it no matter what! But it would mean the world to us to be able to grow our team while also being able to compensate them for their work. And, whether or not we're able to do so will help us determine how long it takes before season two can finally premiere.
