Windy City Times Marks 30 Years

• Founded in 1985 by a small group of individuals passionate about news and the LGBTQ community, Windy City Times is about to celebrate 30 years as the Voice of the LGBTQ Community in the Chicago area.
• For all of those 30 years, Windy City Times has been FREE in print, and once the Internet was widely available 20 years ago, WCT also was free online.
• This $30 for 30 Years campaign will help us realize our passion for continued editorial excellence. We want to utilize more writers, including youth experiencing homelessness, to cover our diverse community.
• IMPORTANT: We will be adding NEW perks throughout this campaign, so check back weekly as perks come online.

What We Need & What You Get

We are seeking $30,000 as part of this editorial campaign:

• This money will help us cover our editorial costs of producing Windy City Times as a free weekly newspaper each week, and free online daily.
• We have some fantastic perks, including house concerts, movie screenings, theatre outings, dinners, comedy and more!
• We also have a 30th anniversary party set for Sunday, Sept. 27, 2-5 p.m. at Sidetrack bar. Donate $50 or more and you get in free!
