WingMen is a mockumentary feature film that follows the journey of Adrian Coulson as he scouts the country for hidden urban talent.

On his arrival in Kingston upon Hull he meets Dale Yelland, a naive wannabe rapper going by the name of 'Skittles', and his best friend and bumbling manger, Scott Meekings.
Adrian goes against the orders from his Producer back in London to follow the journey of the self proclaimed "Wing Men", as they attempt to reach the top of the music industry.
As events unfold we see how Dale and Scott negotiate around the "dream-sqaushers" of society, whilst Adrian plots against them to create "exceptional television".
The universal themes of friendship, love and ambition play significant parts in the story as the film explores the unseen side of documentary filmmaking.

Set in Kingston upon Hull and London, the film aims to bridge the gap between the creative industry of both cities. It will do this by showcasing  musical talent that is present within the city.

The film goes into production on Monday 10th August 2015 on location in Hull with the production relocating to London on Friday 22nd August 2015.

The film will be produced by Paul Preston, Adrian Louth, Lucy Meer and Bart Wedolowski.
Paul Preston and Adrian Louth have worked together writing and producing many successful plays and short films, as well as offering support on many corporate projects for video production companies.
Lucy Meer recently worked as a producer's assistant on the feature film I.D 2 which was shot on location in Hull. Whilst working on the film Lucy gained a vast amount of experience as she worked closely with BAFTA winning producer Sally Hibbin.
Bart Wedolowski is the co-owner of the successful production company Astor Productions. Alongside producing creative content for the company Bart is a highly skilled sound and lighting engineer with several years of experience in live events, television and film productions. A very passionate and hard working producer who always aims high and is well known for his flawless work ethic in order to deliver the best possible results.
The film will be directed by the extremely talented Joshua Leo Dorfman. Joshua graduated from York St John University in 2012 and has gone on to establish himself in the creative industry in Manchester, working on numerous projects ranging from music videos, films, and corporate media. Working with acts such as Us Amongst the Rest, Shot Down Stay Down, G.R.I.M and Chiedu Oraka, Joshua has had his work recognised and promoted by companies such as NME and Scuzz TV.

Getting a film financed in the industry is extremely difficult, even more so for a new and exciting idea. Although the concept of WingMen is fresh, it has the ability to appeal and entertain a mass audience due to the story, international themes and comedy that exist within the screenplay.

Thankfully, we have already secured key cast and crew who believe in the project enough to commit fully to its production - now we are asking YOU to help us raise the remaining £7000 needed to make the film the way we believe it should be made.

The story we have developed has a typical road movie feel as the character's journey is both physical and emotional. Moving cast and crew from A to B to C to D to E... (you get the picture) can be extremely expensive. Alongside this logistical dilemma we also have to dress locations, dress actors and actresses, sort out insurance and other admin costs that tend to pile up during a film production.

Below you can see how the budget will be broken down during the production of the film.

We understand that many crowd-sourced projects struggle and are rarely heard of again, which is why we are determined to see this through right to distribution. We have a locked screening date of Wednesday 30th September for everyone to come and watch the film and be proud of it. As a team we have always made the most of very little and will recycle all funds in order to deliver the best possible end product with the highest on-screen value we can achieve. The infrastructure and contacts we have in place with Astor Productions and other numerous film production companies enable us to achieve a standard of filmmaking that can rival the big boys.

With your donation we will be able to create the film the way we believe it should be made.

We appreciate all help and support so please share this project on all your social media and lets make a film we can all watch and enjoy :)

Thank you for taking the time to read the above,

BIG love,

The WingMen team :)
