As you may already know some of us just came back from our fantastic trip to Nepal.
It has made a huge impression and a deep impact on all of us. What has struck us the most was just how high in need the community is.
With as many as 250,000 houses damaged or destroyed, the road to reconstruction and rebuilding is going to be a long and arduous one. As many as 5,000 schools have been damaged, and over 30,000 classrooms will need to be reconstructed.
We have come back with one dream. Can we raise the money to support a project for rebuilding schools in the most devastated areas (Rasuwa, Sindhupalchowk, Gorkha, Nuwakot, etc.) after the massive earthquakes last year?
We would like to introduce to all of you: KAM FOR SUD.

KAM FOR SUD is a Swiss NGO, established in 1998 in Ticino by a group of people who believe in the true solidarity between human beings and in the value of intercultural work based on mutual respect, equal dignity and friendship. It is a no-profit NGO working for a sustainable development, in the field of education, health and for the protection of the childhood.
In Nepal, KAM FOR SUD supports the poorest populations, concentrating its efforts on children, especially in the fields of education and health.
Their work in Nepal is amazing. They aim towards working for the ones that most need it: the children; and specialize in the areas of education and health, and sustainable development.

So, we ask for a little help from all of you! We: Angela, Simona, Lella and Laura, are co-celebrating our birthdays, and instead of gifts, we will gladly take up donations of any amount (even a small one can make a huge difference).
We have made our main goal to be absolutely transparent with this fundraising. On the long term, we would like to create our own entity with defined values, mission and vision and one purpose, to help the kids in Nepal get the most basic of rights, a proper education.
