#YESOn3TransRightsMA
My name is Ryley Copans, my pronouns are they/them/theirs.
On Tuesday, November 6, 2018, Massachusetts is voting on Transgender Rights. Two years ago, the State House added gender identity to the list of protected classes in public accommodations law, but this November, these rights are at risk! This isn’t just about ‘bathrooms;’ public accommodations are about health care, jobs, housing, education, parks, restaurants, and so much more.
To encourage people to VOTE YES ON 3, and support transgender rights in Massachusetts, community members and I are filming a short video featuring transgender people from MA, talking about what this ballot question means to them. This equally educational and personal video will be featured on social media, and we would also love to air it on t.v., at least via the news.

-Compensate talent and labor.
- We are also seeking donations of production equipment.
- Above all, we would greatly appreciate endorsements of our message by public figures in the form of a brief recorded statement expressing your support.
- We will complete filming by the end of August, and production by mid-September, at which point we can send final video prior to endorsement recordings, and we can edit your support into the video. Our goal is to have the video online by the end of September.
