Young Ronin II is a coming-of-age martial arts film. It follows the story of two young martial artists, Nate and Lucy, who are blackmailed into extracting two brothers from a deadly ninja clan. When one brother becomes a high-ranked clan member, they must infiltrate the clan and convince him to leave before it consumes them all.
We made the first Young Ronin as a no-budget feature film. However, with the sequel, we want to raise the bar! To deliver on that promise, we need your help.

My name is Mitchell Vanlerberg and I am a passionate and dedicated indie filmmaker. My first feature film “Young Ronin” has garnered positive reviews for portraying moral dilemmas facing teenagers and stunt sequences. It was recently selected as the only narrative feature film at the Okanagan Screen Awards film festival.
With two colleagues of mine, we recently formed a video production company, Millennium Valley Productions. Together, we work on promo videos, commercials, documentaries, and short films. However, our true love is creating narrative feature films, which is no easy feat.
The biggest challenge we face is to acquire funds to afford to hire talented actors, actresses, stuntmen, locations, additional crew members, composer, and music licensing. And we can only do that with your help.
If you're still enticed in helping out without contributing to the campaign, please share this campaign with anyone you believe may be interested.

Nate, a skilled martial artist, is living the dream with his girlfriend Lucy while studying at University. But when a schoolyard brawl lands him in the Dean's office, things take a dangerous turn.
The Dean's two sons have joined a notorious ninja clan, and he'll do anything to get them out - including forcing Nate to go undercover to rescue them. Failure isn't an option: if Nate and Lucy don't succeed, they'll be expelled.
But when a mix-up leads to Lucy taking Nate's place, it's up to Nate to train her in the deadly art of ninjutsu.
As if things couldn't be worse enough, Tobey, Nate's estranged younger brother, resurfaces.
Tobey has his own score to settle with the ninja clan and has infiltrated their ranks to take them down. Despite their rocky relationship, Nate and Tobey must put aside their differences and work together to achieve their shared goal.
Can they outsmart the ninja clan and save the Dean's sons before it's too late? Or will they be caught in a web of deceit and danger?
