Welcome to Indigo Valley!

While it seems to be just a normal city tucked away in the Pacific Northwest, Indigo valley is filled with strange occurrences and dark secrets. While people go about their day to day lives oblivious to anything out of the ordinary, shady figures are making plays for power under their noses. It's a side of life that has gone hidden in Indigo Valley for a long time, but it's about to burst into the public spotlight. 

At the center of this is a young man named Axel DeVeyra. Having suffered from headaches all his life, he begins to realize that he has incredible psychic abilities that make him one of the most powerful people on earth. Unfortunately for him, his talents don't remain a secret for long, and he soon becomes the target of the most dangerous men in Indigo Valley. Desiring to help people he decides to become a superhero, taking the name of Zener. Unfortunately, it may just be that the most difficult person for him to save is himself.  

What you'll be getting

This campaign will cover issues 1, 2, and 3 of Zener, covering his backstory and why he first dons the costume. It will introduce the characters, establish key aspects of the world, and best of all will feature some incredible action!

What Is NRG Comics?

Here at NRG comics we are creating a host of new superhero stories that combine a back-to-basics approach to heroism with creative worldbuilding and fresh, memorable characters. Our stories are mature enough not to be campy, but never take themselves too seriously to forget the essential element of fun. Zener is one of the first characters we are going to be introducing, and we hope you'll be as excited to read about him as we are to present him to you!
