Short Summary
It's 1986 and Alyson, a young aspiring model, will do anything to find success in the modeling world. After coming across a casting call she is finally given the chance to shine.
1986 Vogue.
While coming up with the concept for this film I wanted to create not only a compelling story, but a compelling visual landscape. To get this "vibe" across, our team will be looking to use anamorphic glass paired with vibrant color lighting to truly showcase the neon era of the 80's.
- This campaign has been put into action so we can make Vogue the best film it can be.
- By raising more money we will be able to create a more authentic and clean cut film.
Why fund this totally rad film?
Vogue may just seem like another student film, however, our crew is highly dedicated to creating a work of art unlike any other. Coming from a small university in central Florida we have learned how to create quality and original films without the support of a looming top tier film school.
- To make this film possible we are looking to crowdsource our budget. To make "Vogue" a reality we are asking for $5000.
- This total amount is enough for us to create the film without restrictions.
- The budget will allocate money towards the following.
- Equipment Rentals
- Production Design
- Costuming
- Makeup
- Score/Music
- Locations
- Craft Services/food
- Production Expendables
- Actor Expenses
PERKS
Obviously, everyone loves "free stuff." Along with donating to this project you have the ability to receive some pretty sweet stuff. Check out the sick perks on the right of this page!
The Impact
By donating to this campaign you are providing a path for the worlds future filmmakers to show off their talents and creative stories that otherwise may go unnoticed.
Your money is in good hands.
Last year my crew and cast of less than eight people was able to create a film in a weekend on virtually no budget. This film went on to sweep Southeastern University's film festival taking home 9/14 total awards.
Risks?
The best part to funding this project is you are guaranteed to see the film by December 2018! Our crew has no choice but to make this film a reality or we will fail our film thesis.
Can't afford to donate?
That's okay! You can help by spreading the word and sharing our campaign on your social media and by word of mouth.
