Hi there!
We are Kasper Juhl and Michelle Brøndum, two passionate filmmakers from Denmark, Scandinavia. If you are into underground horror movies, you may know Kasper as the director/writer of "Madness of Many" and "Monstrosity" which are released on DVD by Hellbound Productions.
For the past half a year, we have been intensely working on our new feature film "Gudsforladt" with the English title: "A GOD WITHOUT A UNIVERSE".
"A GOD WITHOUT A UNIVERSE" is a project that has taken up a lot of time and effort. We have put our attention into every single detail and used a long time on finding and gathering a team, talented enough to help us bring our vision to life. We are in no doubt that this film will be the best we have ever delivered.
Our goal was to make a very high standard low-budget film with excellent cinematography, professional acting and amazing special effects. And we're about to succeed! We now only need your help, to finish the film completely!

’’AGWAU’’ is a social-realistic drama/horror film. The story follows Mia, a shy and introverted girl, living a monotonous life until the day her brother Anders is released from prison. Anders quickly falls back into old destructive habits and ends up taking Mia with him. Mia is now faced with a much more sinister and brutal side of humanity and herself than ever imagined, and must eventually recognize that there is something dark in all of us.

"A GOD WITHOUT A UNIVERSE" will be very unlike anything ever made in Denmark. It will be a abstract and poetic work of fiction, combining film and music to form a unic and single entity.
The story will be characther driven and about how we all have a dark side, which we must embrace and accept to live life fully. It will be brutal, yet beautiful and explore some dark subjects and sides of humanity.
The film will consist of a 25 minute long and dark metal-soundtrack composed by musician Lasse Lund. The soundtrack will serve as a framework, and be consistent througout the movie, making ''AGWAU'' much more than your typical horror.

Since ’’AGWAU’’ is about characters and their inner frustrations, we needed some very talented actors to nail the script and make the film believable. And so we found! Working with the actors on set and seeing them bring their character to life, was incredible and one of the most epic journeys of out life.
In the role of Anders we have the Danish actor JOHANNES NYMARK. Johannes is educated at William Esper Studio in New York and at The Danish Musical Academy in Denmark. He began his acting career at the age of 12 doing theater, and have ever since, played the lead in several big theater productions, and done a few big Danish feature films such as Hvidstengruppen and Itsi Bitsi.
In the role of Mia we have the Danish actress ANNE SOFIE ADELSPARRE. Anne Sofie have been in several shorts and previously worked with Kasper Juhl on his feature film "Monstrosity". She is also to be seen in John Woo's (Face/Off, Mission Impossible II) upcoming film "The Crossing".

The shooting of "A GOD WITHOUT A UNIVERSE" wrapped the 13th of August 2014, and we have now moved on to post-production. We are at the moment editing away and working on a comprehensive and detailed marketing strategy to create as much attention as possible surronding the film up until its premiere.
Everything looks amazing and we are in no doubt that the finished product will be just as good as we had hoped and of very high quality. But since our resources are limited, we will need some funding to help us out a bit, so we are able to release the film in the beginning of 2015 and distribute it all over the world.
All funding will solely go to ensure we get the best possible result in post-production and get best possible outreach from our marketing strategy. All money will thus go to editing, color-grading, sound design, fxs, marketing, pr. and distribution.
The shooting is done, so this is now all we need to get the perfect end result. So please help us finish the film!
