In communities across the U.S., people are looking for a way to get rid of their old stuff without throwing it in the trash. It can be difficult and time consuming to donate and recycle all that stuff responsibly. Many opt to donate everything to one location to save time. It gets the items out of their hands. But are those items really put to the best use, or used at all?

That’s where Aliyuzi Repurpose and Recycling comes in. We are here to reduce the amount of waste going into landfills. We are working towards a greener world by making sure that goods are reused or recycled in the most responsible way by reaching out into the community to make it easier for others to reduce and recycle too.

What we do

We pick up reusable goods that a person, organization, or business can’t use any more. We ensure that every item goes where it will do the most good. For example, we’ve given pet bedding to animal shelters and vet clinics, food to organizations that feed the hungry, and either reused or recycled old electronics, books, toys and housewares. We’ve already saved more than ½ ton of goods from the landfill.

What we need

Our current location and equipment doesn’t allow for everything we envision. With $5,000, we can buy a used pickup truck, giving us the ability to move both large items and a greater number of smaller items. With $10,000 or more, we can move into an appropriate warehouse space, expanding our capacity to serve Missoula and the surrounding communities on a larger scale.
