The Film

A grief-stricken father seeks solace in a virtual reality simulator, but discovers that actual reality is a multiplayer game.

After his wife Cassie passes away, Jordan Anders finds it much easier to disconnect from the world than to deal with the reality of his grief. He discovers an immersive reality simulation game, called All-Sight, and spends most of his time existing in this virtual landscape where he can still be with his wife. In the game he can do anything, go anywhere, but his stagnant imagination has a limit. Winnie, his resilient daughter, and Rory, a dedicated neighbor, are driven to pull him back in to reality so he can find a way to heal surrounded by those who love and need him. 

All-Sight is a slight future science-fiction family story that explores the effect our relationship to technology has on our interpersonal relationships. It is about connection, and how we choose to deal or not to deal with the tough stuff in our modern world where technology drives so many of our interactions and offers a constant and alluring escape from reality.

All of us want to make movies that we, and you want to see, that can affect how we all perceive the world. Help us make All-Sight a reality!

• Location fees: This story takes us to many places, not all of which are virtual, some of which require a fee...
• Equipment costs: Cameras, gear, and lighting kits to make every frame great.
• Production & costume design: So we can build the world of All-Sight - props design, set dressing, costumes -  with as much creativity and detail as possible.
• Artist compensation & craft services:  The All-Sight team is made up of some students, some professionals, and all passion, but we can’t eat our love of filmmaking. Help make sure we stay fed on set. 
• Post-production: To make sure the film doesn't get trapped in virtual reality forever. Editing, sound design, visual effects, color grading, and festival fees for when All-Sight is ready to be shared with the world. 

• Hugs (we weren't kidding) - In person whenever possible. Via mail if we can. Virtual hugs, in the form of social media shout-outs, are a last resort; we prefer physical displays of love to technological ones
• Personalized narration  - Receive a personalized recording from the voice that narrates All-Sight, and live in your own reality simulation...if that's your thing, or whatever. The level of creepiness here is totally up to you.
• Promotional materials - Posters and other copies of the promotional art inspired by the film! Courtesy of the talented Samantha Ward.
• Copies of the screenplay & finished film - Your chance to get more insight in to the story and track how All-Sight made its way from page to screen. Then watch the final thing again and again.
• Private screenings - It’s because of you that we get to make All-Sight a reality. Once it gets there we think you deserve to see it, and meet us, in-person.
• Cameos - We've got one scene just waiting to have your beautiful face all over it. Come spend a day on set, and be a part of the on-screen world of All-Sight! (Dependent on patron availability for shooting date.)
