March 23, 2013 is the 10th Anniversary of the Battle of An-Nasiriyah, the first major engagement of United States Marines in the Iraq War and remains one of the sharpest engagements to date. Veterans of the intense, hard-fought battle are organizing a reunion at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia to commemorate the occasion and they need your help.
We are seeking sponsors for the event to offset the costs born by the Iraq War Veterans attending the reunion. "Many of us are still serving our country in the Marine Corps or working in additon to attending school, so our aim is to keep the cost borne by the Marines & Veterans as minimal as possible." said Dion Brugger. “Any money that we raise above the cost of the reunion logistics will go to cover the cost of travel for Marines who otherwise couldn’t afford to come,” Brugger said.
When you make this donation you are helping us to:
- Commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Battle of An-Nasiriyah, Iraq
- Honor the sacrifice of the all of the Marines who died while serving our country.
- Remember the bravery of all the Marines who fought in “the most extraordinary battle of the Iraq War”.
- Pay for the travel expenses of Marines to attend this reunion.
