Bbagz can be frozen or heated in an oven or microwave,  & If u add the clamp, they are waterproof... so versatile! We use Bbagz for breakfast omelettes and burritos all the time!  

bagz are awesome for  boil in the bag too (here are a couple of leftovers being reheated, and bbagz being used as a double boiler)

zero plastic sous vide is also possible with bbagz! This is an amazingly juicy teriyaki chicken breast cooked in our collapsible sous vide water oven.

Risks & Challenges

The Risks & Challenges of success have diminshed since our first crowdfunding campain. 

On Sawatdee Silibagz, everything was new and needed to be learned, my scheduling was inaccurate and constantly compounding and we ended up delivering 9 months late :(  

This time we are geared towards a successful delivery based on what we have learned. The first is the toughest as my dad says, and the second time you do something it takes half the time, and we think he's right :)

This time shipping is simplified as are the perks, and the whole production timeline is known! We've padded it a bit, and we are confidant with our schedule, and are sure we can hold to it !

Other Ways You Can Help if you cannot contribute

Some people just can't contribute, but that doesn't mean you can't help:

1. we need help to get the word out & that is for sure a significant hole in our project (no publicist)
2. we need people to pass it around where ever they play (reddit, facebook, twitter, whatever)  be an influencer; share it on social media and with your friends & family and help us get the plastic out of our lives.  
3. We are just starting to get a heartbeat in the media, which is great, but we need a lot more to ensure this continues, so if u know of an anti plastic campaigner, or innovation supporter in the media, please give em the heads up! We got a full  page in Ming Pao Vancouver, which had an immediate impact, and would love to get a little more of the same :)            

what is the significance of Bbagz?

We believe Bbagz and Infini repurposing could transform the world from the current one using endless islands of short service, long lived plastic bags, to one using a simple replacement that causes no illness or injury, and can be hand ground into something new over and over. Imagine that replacing the beer bags of China, liquado bags of Guatemala and the street food bags of Thailand! it's a HUGE problem!

Bbagz are sterilizable too, and will eliminate street food waste (51% of the waste going into the SF Bay is coming from fast food good people), with a simple sterilization process that takes nothing more than a microwave , it is ready to rock the food trucks of Vancouver or anywhere else!

Bbagz even have commercial potential for delivery of everything from coffee to detergent, which right now are being delivered in a growing mountain of non-recyclable pouches (fastest growing sector in packaging).

bbagz also love people! It broke our heart to hear about Ugandans cooking in black garbage bags, and the disasterous results for the children and unborn, and bbagz could completely eliminate that too.

Do you have any other ideas?

Yes, we have solar lights that become pot lights on boats, in tents and huts (think, Haiti and other developing places where the majority of people have no power) and we have solar ovens as well. 

We are prototyping 12v heaters that turn silibagz into heated cooking bags, and of course we have more awesome platinum silicone designs coming your way too!
