WHAT IS BEHEMOTH?
![]()
Titrov, a small country in the north, has known nothing but war since its conception fifty years ago. Now, with a “provisional” government in place to keep order and the cold settling in place of the heat of war, war reporter Mike is in the country experiencing the hospitality(?) of the locals. His wandering eventually leads him into the company of Taja, a witness to the secret biological experiments of Titrov’s former government.
Together, they adventure through Vahalon, the bombed-out wasteland of a nation Titrov built upon the ruins of, as they search for Project: BEHEMOTH. But like all valuable things, a straight shot to BEHEMOTH is a pipe dream, rounded out by roaming bands of mercenaries, pockets of Vahalon soldiers. Not to mention the other experiments that were left to roam the wilderness.

Mike
A veteran journalist of the first world war, Mike Illavern is dragged into the wake of the BEHEMOTH project by circumstances out of his control. A reporter known for his relentless coverage of wars that are unheard of in the first world, his uncanny dedication to the truth and the rights of the people of Titrov drive him further into the BEHEMOTH conspiracy; closer than he ever dreamed and closer than he realizes he actually is.
Taja
Driven by self-preservation and a survival complex above all else, Taja Litburg’s greed and temper have gotten her into just as much trouble as they’ve gotten her out of and make her the epitome of putting out one’s own fires. A witness to the horrors of the BEHEMOTH Project, she is a key figure in the hunt for what’s left of the project.
This is the first adventure out of many for our two protagonists. They will face up against soldiers, mercenaries, bandits, and the monsters that lurk in the night all in an attempt to uncover the secrets of Behemoth.

What You’re Backing and Why
Now for the material you’re backing. Behemoth is a 48-page graphic novel, written and drawn by an artistic maverick and lettered by an industry insider! Included with the print copy is the full story plus several pages of concept art and character designs from the artist vaults that will only be available with the product in ashcan format!

Behemoth: War Makes Monsters is a work of passion, the culmination of the blood and sweat of asymmetric talent that seeks to tell a story on their own terms, and with a strong fanbase built and continuing to support with future stories in our saga! Rather than line up with a publisher and compromise our story to any editorial demands, we chose to self-publish and print our uncompromised story the way we wanted to tell it, and with our community backing us up all the way! Teamwork makes the dream work, after all.
