Summary
Too little is remembered about the tragedy of Communist history. We want to shed light on the story of one man, Ihor Oleshchuk, and through him tell the story of Communism in Ukraine. At 89 years old, he still runs a small museum, and gives amazingly lucid tours to visitors. The building which now houses the museum was a communism prison where he himself was held and tortured.
His story is inspirational, and will help the world understand the tragedy of Communism and help ensure the mistakes of the past are not repeated.
What We Need & What You Get
We seek funding to make a short, professional documentary. We have a some flexibility in that we can scale the project up or down to fit our budget. This allows us to make the commitment:
A quarter of funds raised will be donated to the museum.
The remaining funds will be spent on:
* Sound and Video Crew
* Travel
* Editing and post-production
* Research
* Translation
With your permission, we will thank you in the credits.
Limited edition thank you plaques are also available as Indiegogo Perks.

Impact & Thank you
It is now more important than ever to capture these episodes from history before they fade into the past.
Too little is known about the history of the Soviet Union and the history of communism. With your help we will contribute to changing that.
We are a small flexible team, ready to scrape by with whatever budget we have. Financing will help us provide a better quality product.
If you cannot contribute directly, please share this link to our campaign to spread the word: https://www.indiegogo.com/project/preview/e631391a .
