I am a musician and sound healer. I play instruments for sound and healing primarily in the bay area and at festivals.

I have been playing these instruments which include singing bowls, native flutes, didgeridoos, and much more for 8 years ever since I chose this musical direction after playing piano and guitar most of my life before that. Picking up flutes dramatically changed my direction. It felt so right to play them and it had such a positive effect on my life.

I was recently approached by a representative from Meinl to promote their Sonic Energy line of instruments. This includes singing bowls, tuning forks, GONGS, didgeridoos, chimes, even handpans.

The instruments are of a very high quality and I'd like to invest in 12 or more of their instruments and bring them to more spaces including hospitals - which I've been at regularly for the last 3 months playing flute, didgeridoo, and sharing singing bowls + overtone singing. It's been really potent and I've gotten to do this both for individuals as well as for groups in two hospitals - Kaiser and Alta Bates - both in Oakland.

In this period I've seen the huge benefit and excitement that patients and staff feel when I play there. The patients often light up like they haven't ever before. It often makes the day for them and their family

So, I'm asking for $10,000 to buy gongs and singing bowls. The gongs are $500-3,000 each depending on the quality and the singing bowls are $50-500 each. A set of tuning forks is about $500. With these instruments I will be able to bring sound healing into hospitals in an even more potent way. As part of this campaign I am providing the instruments for sale as well.

Supporting this campaign helps me bring more sound healing into hospitals, and helps me get started on a business selling sound healing instruments. I intend to get a gong (of which Meinl produces some of the finest gongs in the world), a set of tuning forks and Tibetan singing bowls, a handpan, and didgeridoos for students to purchase and take lessons on.

I'm offering instrument packages to contributors along with lessons - and also the best deals on the Meinl gongs and handpans. If you would like to contribute but are not looking for an instrument or a lesson that is great as well. The funds are going toward getting more instruments into hospitals and my making an initial investment in these instruments for sharing on a broader and more impactful scale with my community and the world.
