We are Elle Peters and Brittany Thornton! A very new and swift adventure is afoot for us! Over the past few weeks we have been actively pursing buying a small plus size clothing store in Oregon. The current owners of said store* have picked us to carry on their legacy! Owning a plus size clothing store is THE DREAM for us! We are eager to get to Oregon and start on this new adventure. It has happened so suddenly that we’ve barely had time to plan and are expected to be in Portland by the end of January to start training! We are beyond excited and we need your help to thrive!
We are asking for your donations to help us over the next six months as we move through this process. Once we are in Oregon we will be spending several weeks being trained and once the business is officially in our hands it could still be a while before we are turning a profit – much less a living wage. We need your help to support the both of us paying to break our leases, to cover expenses for moving south, securing housing and paying rent and utilities for several months, buying groceries, paying for monthly bus cards, cell phone bills, lawyer and account fees, to help cover the cost of buying new computers (Elle hasn’t had one in years and Brittany’s was barely functioning), outstanding medical bills, and anything else that might come up.
We need your help to get us stable and thriving as we embark on this new and exciting journey.
