The whole idea for the project began at my agent's 50th birthday party in Vienna, when I surprised him by putting on a dress and singing Mary Sunshine's song from "Chicago." All the guests at the party erupted and screamed with thunderous applause. The very next day, the idea for a full-length broadway CD was born. After all, when I was a child and before I even know what opera was, I was singing tons of broadway musicals. It's in my blood!
Recording a CD of this music with the countertenor voice I have developed and trained for many years is a dream for me, and I have something totally unique and special planned for you. In my career as an opera singer, I have a specialty in performing women's roles, so the idea came about quite naturally that I should bring this element to my CD. This is why I will be recording songs combining both male and female personas! Once the CD has been recorded and released, I have big ambitions for a special and unique concert tour with the repertoire from the CD.

Why I'm doing this
I want to create something special and wonderful for the world to enjoy. This idea has guided my career each step of the way. I have always accepted my voice and talents as gifts to nourish, protect, and share. That's why I work so hard. Quite simply, I want to make people happy!
The Process
I am very fortunate to collaborate with my agency, Parnassus ARTS Productions, who is producing this CD. They have successfully produced countless magnificent CDs on top labels such as Sony and Decca, and have had 3 GRAMMY nominations. A: My agency, Parnassus ARTS Productions (located in Vienna) is producing this project. You can absolutely still give to the campaign as an American (or from any other country)!
