OUR STORY

We are a group of independent filmmakers from New York City who are trying to raise funds to finalize production and post production process of our short film, Broken Vines.  We shot principal photography in early May 2012 and need your help to complete. 

Broken Vines is a fantasy, drama about Angelia, a 12 year old, who in trying to belong, must confront peer pressure and the challenge to fit in. When she is dared by her classmates to do something she doesn't want to do, she discovers appearances can be deceiving and joy can be found in the most unexpected places.

THE IMPACT

With a fantasy element, a diverse and intergenerational cast, this story that was shot in both English and Spanish brings a unique perspective. Peer pressure, a  challenge faced by many of today's youth is also portrayed. Since children and young adults can be very impressionable, stories that highlight these issues play an important role in society.
