My name is Carrie Akre and I am a singer songwriter from the Northwest. I've been creating music in bands such as Hammerbox, Goodness, The Rockfords w/Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, The VIPs w/Pat Dinizio of the Smithereens and solo work.
Joining the Carrie Akre Army means joining hands and committing to communing on the healing power of music!! I am deeply ready to commune with you! I'm looking to dive into creativity and bring new music to the world! I will be working on a 45 with two new songs that have never been recorded until now.
These days it takes a village and I love my village. I love connecting and I truly feel music changes lives. I will bring music that is soothing to the heart and good for the spirit! Please join me in the best kind of army!

What I Need & What You Get
- I am looking to resource 5k and that will go towards: recording costs for two new songs, an engineer, musicians, mixing and mastering and fun posters.
- Contributers will get huge thank yous, digital downloads, signed posters, house concerts, podcast participation, access the recording process and guest list fun!
- Even if I don't hit the goal and I am going to take that money and put it towards a more DIY way to record and make sure I get that music out there!
