BIO ABOUT THE DIRECTOR/WRITER : 

Destiny Soria, Owner of Lady Destiny Production

I’m a photographer, editor, and shoot videos like reel and films in any genre.

I also give back to fellow artists and models by putting together great reels for them. On my own, I taught myself how to shoot and edit video which I now use to help others who are trying to break in the industry. No matter what the project or what the budget, I ensure that all my customers get quality reels and headshots. I have done so much but if you ask me, I’m just getting started. In reality, acting saved me. At the age of 24, I was ready to start this new chapter in life and I decided that I was going headfirst. Acting allowed me to share with others, to speak up, to challenge my Learning Disabilities and to pursue my dreams. As an actress, I was able to memorize much more information and my speech gradually became more refined. My new efforts led me to the acting school, John Robert Powers (JRP) in Bloomington, Minnesota where I received further instructions from the industry. It was these lessons that paved the way for my success in acting as I honed my expressions, improved my skills and started my ascent.

ABOUT THE FILM "CHRISTMAS SLASHER":

When a couple of college kids decide to go on a hunting trip for their Christmas break, they get more than they bargained for when their past comes back to haunt them. An undead reindeer has set Mr. and Mrs. Claus on a murderous rampage of revenge- with the entire group as the target.

As the group struggles to stay alive and figure out what put them on Santa's Murder List, feelings run high and love triangles are revealed. However, it will take more than love and Christmas cheer to stop the killing. During a fight for survival, the question remains- who killed his Reindeer?

The Christmas Slasher, which has been approved as a sag short project, brings a horror twist to classic characters including Santa Claus, Reindeers, and Mrs. Claus while also adding a psychological element into the mix. The main character, Alita Claus, becomes not only the sole witness but also a murder suspect and the audience are left questioning exactly how much of what they see is real.

What we need & what you get: 

"The funding will cover costs for production of The Christmas slasher, a sag short film. Lady Destiny Productions is a nascent company and quality production is critical to establishing ourselves in the industry “

The project is the brainchild of Lady Destiny Production’s founder Destiny Soria, who has long been a fan of the classical horror genre. The Christmas Slasher aims to pay homage to the great major horror tropes while also bringing something unique and thought-provoking to the audience.

The Christmas Slasher is slated to be filmed in Minnesota and Texas.  To feature mostly rising talent among the cast and crew with hope of casting more experienced actors for certain roles.

Unfortunately, lack of funding has been a major obstacle in bringing this short to the proverbial big screen. The film is currently not funded despite having sag support.

The budget is modest and includes just enough to pay cast and crew as well as to cover various production-related expenses and hope to get a horror Icon on board also.

We’re giving a well know horror icon a starring role in the film. For those that want to join in a 80s style slasher film!! We have Felissa Rose on board to play mom in Christmas Slasher to the lead female, Destiny Soria.

Felissa Rose Esposito At the age of 13, she landed the role of Angela in the cult film Sleepaway Camp (1983). MTV's The Party Phone Series opposite Adam Sandler.
