Granite State Biofuels - a Woman owned producer of Biodiesel in the Capital
Region of New Hampshire.
While a replacement for diesel or jet fuel may not seem as cool as
an intelligent road system or next-gen smart phone it plays a HUGE but
largely transparent role in your personal lives and nearly all aspects are not
very beneficial.
Diesel and Jet Fuels are the two fundamental energy fuels that
drive the world. Nearly everything you can imagine is moved by them and so is the price we pay for those things.

We ask you to pause a moment to think about fuels that do not
require us to send our friends and family around the world to die in defense of
petroleum reserves that poison our environment and result in a third of the US
debt we will pass on to our children's grand-children.
Imagine just for a moment the impact of not having our Military police oil supplies around the world.
Who We Are
![]()
Granite State Biofuels is a Woman Majority owned producer of
Biodiesel in the Capital Region of New Hampshire.
Beginning in 2011 Lynda and John Maguire along with Andrew Hatch
began the process of creation and innovation that has lead them to what is now
a totally self-funded 3.75 million gallons per year Biodiesel production
facility in Bow, New Hampshire. As a true innovator in Biofuels production, we have leveraged the Bio-Tech\Bio-Pharma rich environment of the Northeast to
create a very compact, highly effective and energy efficient platform for
manufacturing Biodiesel that can be easily distributed.

What We Will Do
Granite State Biofuels will
continue to produce Biodiesel and refine its innovative Biotech manufacturing
process as well as add much needed in-process lab testing to ensure the highest
possible output quality. Upgrades to energy efficiency and product distillation
will also continue in our ever-evolving efforts to lower production costs
making Biodiesel more competitive without subsidies.
We need to purchase analytical
equipment which will help us to refine our process in real time. Right now,
independent testing labs take several days to report results and are expensive.
This $40,000 investment will significantly increase our speed of development
and lower our cost of production.

Help
us grow the process that will restore and redefine community economics, aid our
environment and reduce our dependence on fossil fuels by supporting our
campaign and keeping an eye out for others like it. Remember smart roads are
truly incredible but they are just a small part of the change we must have to
grow the total spectrum of the new Alternative Revolution.
Help Granite State Biofuels
continue to innovate Alternative Energy Solutions that impact communities,
states, our Nation and our planet through the creation of
self-sufficient community scale Biodiesel Production Facilities.
The efforts of biofuel producers
like GSB will be the disruptive force in re-distributing the wealth of energy
from massively profiteering oil refineries back to communities.
Direct impact on the communities in which
Biodiesel is produced include:
- Increased
tax base from entire Biodiesel value chain.
- Jobs created for feedstock farming or collection of
waste oils, production of Biodiesel and distribution by local outlets and
distributors.
- Skilled
jobs created for Biodiesel production and distribution.
- Jobs
for Domestic oil burner technicians. Protection for small oil heat
distributors against onslaught of natural gas conversions.
- Income
for local feedstock producers, collectors and refiners.
- Healthier people and cleaner environments resulting
from reduced emissions and non-polluting production methods.
By choosing biodiesel, consumers
can elect to support a local, safe alternative. GSB can afford to supply
consumers directly as they will buy 50 gallons or more at a time.
If we are fortunate to secure additional funding, we will use this to begin
the process of establishing our second production facility. It has always been
our plan to establish a source of clean renewable fuels suitable for marine and
then jet applications. Biodiesel is truly biodegradable, it is less caustic
than salt and biodegrades faster than sugar making it an ideal fuel for use on
and around our precious oceans and fragile atmosphere. These industries know
they need to have alternatives but they are simply not there in the quantities
required. Numerous market research efforts are predicting very high demand and
growth in these areas and we feel we have the technology to deliver in these
markets.
We will continue our efforts with
researchers, industry groups and government agencies to further the growth of
viable and scalable drop-in alternative fuel production methods. Next
generation biofuels are in great demand by all industry users as they represent
a direct and drop-in replacement for fossil fuels and GSB is dedicated and
determined to play a role in their development and proliferation.

Technical Stuff
Our
unique technology is based on process intensification of the reaction
components, vegetable oil and methyl alcohol. The intensification of the
reaction is the primary process in biodiesel production.
Intensification directly effects
the reaction rate and the reaction completion.
If the reaction rate is increased
ten times compared to classical biodiesel production technologies the equipment
productivity is increased 4-5 times, thus reducing the plant cost 2-3 times
making it very easy and economical to add plants at the community level where
they can do the most good.
Biodiesel makes a strong case for
being a contender in a form of positively disruptive economic change that will
fuel innovation across a multitude of areas and promote continued growth of
measures to ensure petroleum independence. Technology, agriculture, environment
and manufacturing will all play major roles as the transition to renewable
energy economics continues.
Why Indiegogo Gets It!
Danae Ringelmann set about making capital available to anyone with a Vision
that could capture the imagination and inspire others to participate in and
fund that Vision. She and her partners are delivering the Future of Finance!
Indiegogo represents a unique and
powerful opportunity for funding change through the development and empowerment
of ideas and beliefs. What we are seeking is not simply funding but kinship in
the belief that Indiegogo communities are made up of like-minded and motivated
individuals that want to support specific things and enact powerful
change. While large corporations, lobbying firms, supporters of special
interests and government currently decide policy so many of us don't agree
with, we are now being afforded the ability to cooperatively support efforts
that we can believe in with crowdfunding communities.
Democratize the Monopoly of Petroleum as Indiegogo has done
with Banking and Finance!
All around the world the
technology and the materials exist to bring about the change WE know
must come about but WE must embrace and support the transition by
supporting any and all credible efforts to ensure that change is seeded and
cultivated.
Indiegogo
community support can be that critical cooperative funding opportunity that
banks simply can't offer.
Biodiesel Today
Biodiesel is crafted from locally available resources and usage
provides a host of economic benefits for local communities. The community-based
model of distributed Biodiesel production we have developed is particularly
beneficial as available feedstocks are locally grown or collected, converted to
biodiesel, then distributed and used within the community. This benefits the
local economy by keeping energy dollars in the community instead of sending
them to foreign oil producers and refineries outside the community.
Biodiesel makes a strong case for being a contender in a form of
positively disruptive economic change that will fuel innovation across a
multitude of areas and promote continued growth of measures to ensure petroleum
independence. Technology, agriculture, environment and manufacturing will all
play major roles as the transition to renewable energy economics continues.
