Our Story
Thank you for visiting our page and supporting our exciting film project, Death Valley Ink! Every donation, large and small, is greatly and humbly appreciated. We, at Outlaw Pictures LLC., can assure you with unmitigated confidence your contribution will achieve nothing less than motion picture excellence!
Our concept falls under the longtime tested genre of horror/comedy anthology. After all, who doesn’t love a good scare? Better yet, who doesn’t love a good laugh? Death Valley Ink couples classic with contemporary film styles to deliver a picture that is sure to be a hit! The plot includes elements of gore, fright, music, stylish cinematography and cutting edge visual effects. What’s more, according to Entertainment Weekly, anthology horror films are making a comeback:

Being an anthology, different segments of the film can be separated during production. Thus, shot individually. Our plan is to shoot the wraparound story along with one of the short tales. A “wraparound” is a narrative story, which ties all the other scenes together. For example, the comic book theme throughout the film, Creepshow. In addition to the wraparound, we intend to shoot the segment entitled Wolfman Carjack. This story tells the tale of a couple on their third date. A date where dark secrets inevitably (and hilariously) rear their frightful heads!
The wraparound setting takes place in a tattoo parlor, run by the sultry “Miss Devine”. Her fables unfold as she plies her ink into the college students who wander into her tattoo parlor, mysteriously located smack in the middle of Death Valley, and on the edge of Hell!
What We Need & What You Get
In order to produce these two segments, we need $150K. We have several goals for the footage after principle photography is complete. The edited version will be used to attract investors, in order to raise money to complete the remainder of the film. We will also cut a short film from the footage in order to create a buzz within the horror film festival circuit. In addition, we will use the footage to create the Death Valley Ink television pilot as a pitch to network broadcasters.
We are locked, loaded and ready to fire! Now, all we need is you. Your donations will be distributed wisely amongst all aspects of production, including: casting agents, talent, crew, locations, special effects, equipment, editing, design, craft services, publicity and marketing. If we aren't able to reach our funding goal, the money we do raise will go toward multiple aspects of development and pre-production, such as: hiring a casting agent to attract known talent to the project, building a website, marketing, storyboard artist, website, and hopefully the completion of at least one of the segments.
You get the gifts detailed on the right side of the page. What's more, bragging rights in helping get this exciting film project up on the silver screen! *Gifts provided upon completion of the project.
