Project description

Desire is a romance thriller about Chase and Sierra, two star-crossed lovers who get reacquainted on Facebook after being apart for approximately 20 years. They do not meet due to their respective, present and ordinary committed relationships. When Chase is pursued by Sierra to meet with her in Paris on "The Eiffel Tower" at the midnight hour to rekindle what time took away from them so long ago. Chase is forced to answer the call and when Chase goes to Paris, he questions his own sanity. He must now follow through by suppressing his darkest fears and mundane subsistence while ascertaining a glowing red light's constant beckoning of him. All this along with Sierra's love of so long ago, that takes up his every thought and waking moment, although morally, he knows it spells disaster.

Tessa Dooley's Biography

 Tessa Dooley is a former kennel owner and operator with a heavy background in executive administration work at Kodak and Xerox.   Teaching Professional Bartending part time and dabbling in antiques, she is retired from the kennel and currently writing screenplays and enjoying the simple things in life namely, riding on her bike, motorcycle, and yoga and caring for her home and dog. Her passion for writing "Desire," flared up when she met up with an old boyfriend online, so some of the story is true and other parts are fiction. Like the book itself being a mystery so shall the reader never know what parts are fiction and non-fiction. Tessa hopes to someday have her passion of loving dogs be a big screenplay for all to embrace and enjoy. Tessa Dooley is now the Vice President and co-owner of Envie Films, LLC.

Kevin J. Parsons – Biography

He is an independent Producer, Director, Writer, and Editor of various disciplines. Kevin joined Freelancer Technology Pty Limited (ACN 142189759) in December 2011 and was awarded a “5 Gold Star” rating for his services as a Ghostwriter for feature films’ and books’ of various genres. His style of writing is dogmatic (stylized as his “system”), which arose as a result of his writing skills which stem from Feature Film Screenplay writers’ Syd Field, Andrew Horton and Ronald B. Tobias to mention but a few and his experience within the Theatre Industry. Kevin’s primary goal is to transport the reader or viewer into the world of the “Protagonist,” where they would then experience the moods and the emotions of the character being depicted, i.e. appeal to the emotive side. Making you the reader of his “Book” or viewer of his “Feature Film” become the “Hero,” of the “Character-Centered narrative.” He later married Miss. Anneke M. Burger on December 28, 2013. Mrs. Anneke M. Parsons has subsequently, become his personal assistant and they are happily married and reside in South Africa. Mrs. Anneke M. Parsons is also the Owner of Wood2luv Designs which manufactures small handmade decorative items for the home. Kevin is currently the President and co-owner of Envie Films, LLC.

Risks and challenges

The idea for this romance thriller feature film came to us in January 2014, and to see the book come to life has been nothing short of amazing.

We have an amazing team that continues to work hard, making sure all rewards are delivered to you on time so you can be inspired by the film.

If our campaign receives massive traction, our team will still be able to have the rewards arrive to all other backers in May/June. If for some reason we come across obstacles that delay our shipping dates, we'll be sure to keep you updated every step of the way.

We have a great production team working on this project to ensure that all orders will be shipped ASAP. All items on the list of rewards are handmade, engraved or personalized depending on the type of reward. Great care and hard work are going into this by our team members.

When the campaign ends on April 15, 2017, we will send an email to every backer for their shipping address. If this project is successfully funded, your card will be charged when the campaign ends: April 15, 2017. Shipping will be done in the warehouse of our shipping partner in New York to all over the world. All shipments will have a tracking number to make sure it reaches the backers safely. On all the rewards VAT and duties are excluded. The shipping costs are determined by the weight and dimensions of the parcel, as well as the shipping address, these costs will be to the account of the backer/supporter or some perks, for Envie Films' account. We would love to ship everywhere in the world and include everyone; therefore we specified approximate worldwide shipping costs, as every parcel will have a different price. USA shipping is free with most of the perks or is included within the reward amount.
