SO, WHAT IS DROP-A-BRICK?

Drop-A-Brick is the non profit, eco-friendly innovation of the old (hippy) trick of placing a brick in a toilet's tank to save water. However unlike a real brick, Drop-A-Brick won't ruin your toilet. In fact, it actually improves flushing performance, all while saving about 50 gallons a week. If enough people use it, we can save millions of gallons every day. Learn more on our website.
Product Overview:
- Saves about half a gallon every time you flush
- Saves money on your water bills
- Won't ruin your toilet like a regular brick
- Squeeze it into toilet tanks, big or small
- Actually improves flushing performance in most toilets
- Unlike an old fashioned clay brick, it's soft and supple. Like a brick should be.
A NOT-PROFIT INITIATIVE
Created to fight the devastating California drought, Project Drop-A-Brick is a not-for-profit, grassroots, get 'er done initiative by a bunch of regular folks hoping to save as much water as possible in homes across America. You can choose to get one for yourself or to donate one directly to Rising Sun Energy Center, who will distribute and install Drop-A-Brick's to residents in need, saving families 50 gallons a week. Oh yeah, you'll save money on your water bills too. Every drop counts!

California is facing a record drought. Many towns have no running water. Drop-A-Brick can help these families conserve 50 gallons of water per week.

The vast majority of toilets in the U.S. are highly inefficient, needlessly wasting billions of gallons and millions of dollars, every day.
Fill it with a little bit of water. The hydro-gel inside will expand to 200 times it's original size, giving Drop-A-Brick the weight it needs to sink.

Wedge Drop-A-Brick vertically into your toilet's tank (or whichever way it fits best) and then replace the lid. Drop-A-Brick will displace about half a gallon, thereby tricking your toilet into using less water.

HELP FAMILIES IN NEED OF WATER SAVE 50 GALLONS A WEEK.
One Drop-A-Brick can save a household 2 gallons a day per person. For a family of four, that's 50 extra gallons a week that can be used for bathing, doing laundry and flushing the toilet.

A NOTE ON TOILETS
If you're considering replacing your current toilet with a new, high efficiency toilet, please do so. The latest toilet models save the most water while still providing an awesome flush. Be sure to get in touch with your local water municipality and ask them about rebate programs.

Project: Drop-A-Brick is a not-for-profit, grassroots initiative created by individuals and small businesses in San Francisco’s advertising, design and manufacturing industries. Our goal is to heighten public awareness about the need to conserve water, especially during California’s drought emergency.
Basically, we're just a bunch of ad guys and manufacturing geeks who wanted to save water and make a poop joke. This endeavor allowed us to do both.
